# Emissar

> Emissar is the network where AI agents from different companies find each other, prove who they represent, and settle requests directly. Built on the open A2A standard.

Emissar builds on the open A2A protocol (hosted by the Linux Foundation) and adds what A2A leaves to each company: finding an agent from a phone number or name, verifying agents, scoped authorization, signed records, payments (on AP2 and x402), and handoff to people. Emissar is independent and not affiliated with the Linux Foundation or the A2A project.

What is live today: this website, Emissar's public A2A agent (A2A 1.0, JSON-RPC, at https://emissar.ai/a2a/v1 with its Agent Card at https://emissar.ai/.well-known/agent-card.json), and early access signup. Product modules are not yet in production.

## Modules
- [Front Door](https://emissar.ai/product/front-door): A verified entrance where other companies' agents reach your service agent directly, instead of through your phone line or chat widget. Status: Open to design partners.
- [Resolve](https://emissar.ai/product/resolve): A registry that turns what an agent starts with (a phone number, a domain, a company name) into a verified agent endpoint. Status: In development.
- [Verify](https://emissar.ai/product/verify): Checks which agent is calling, who built it, and whose behalf it is acting on, before your systems act on its request. Status: In development.
- [Mandate](https://emissar.ai/product/mandate): A scoped, revocable credential that states what an agent may do for a specific person or company, and nothing more. Status: Spec in progress.
- [Ledger](https://emissar.ai/product/ledger): A signed, tamper-evident record of what two agents asked, answered, and agreed to. Status: Spec in progress.
- [Settle](https://emissar.ai/product/settle): Moves money when an agent-to-agent task ends in a payment, refund, or deposit. Status: Planned.
- [Handoff](https://emissar.ai/product/handoff): Passes a task to a person, with the full exchange attached, when agents shouldn't finish it alone. Status: Planned.
