The problem
When a person calls, the business keeps a recording and notes. When two agents settle a refund in two seconds, both sides still need a record that holds up if the customer disputes it, a regulator asks, or the agents disagree about what was agreed.
How it works
- Each completed task produces a receipt: the parties, their verified identities, the mandate used, the request, the outcome, and timestamps.
- Both sides sign the receipt.
- The receipt is stored and either party can retrieve it.
- Anyone holding the receipt can later check its hash to show nothing changed.
